I loved that this place was only a 15-minute walk from manatee park, perfect for walking through beautiful scenery, and just a short drive to the stunning los corales beach bavaro, where i soaked in the sun and enjoyed the coastal views. the staff were friendly and accommodating, making my stay enjoyable.

Stayed at Whala! Urban for a couple of nights. The front desk staff returned my lost iPad, which was a huge relief. The hotel's entrance area has nice seating, making the wait more comfortable. Shuttle service to the beach was handy for $20 per adult, and the nearby Cilantro restaurant had amazing food. The Double Room with Pool View was spacious, but cleanliness was an issue. The bathroom had hairs, and the furniture felt sticky. Appliances in the room looked run down, and the pool water was cloudy, so I didn’t feel like swimming. Breakfast options were okay but not impressive, and there were no cups for drinking water in the room, which felt inconvenient. Though the location and some amenities were great, the overall upkeep of the facilities really needs improvement.
